Privately Operated Vehicles :

IFS is a six-week course.  Although not required, personal transportation to Initial Flight Screening (IFS) via Privately Operated Vehicles (POVs) is the most widely used option.  Historically, more than 80% of students travel via POV.

POV travel itinerary should not be submitted to IFS or Doss personnel.

Driving a POV to Pueblo:

If you plan to drive to Pueblo, you will show no earlier than 1000 hours and no later than 1800 hours MST at the IFS facility.


You will arrive at the IFS facility in your blues, no tie or formal coat are required.

You will be turned away if you report in civilian clothes, unshaven or in need of a haircut. You will not be allowed to enter the facility and change into your unifrom prior to inprocessing.
