Inprocessing Uniform:
Inprocessing will occur in the AF blues, short sleeve shirt. See CC letter.
You will be turned away if you report in civillian clothes, unshaven or in need of a haircut.
Uniform Requirements :
All AETC/UFT locations (Columbus, Laughlin, Randolph, Sheppard,Vance, Whiting, Guard & Reserve ...) Students are responsible for procuring uniforms prior to arrival at IFS. All others locations must make an attempt to procure uniform items prior to arrival at IFS.

Flight suits and jackets must have rank and Velcro sewn on.
Bring one pair of combat boots.
Note: Flight boots are not required at IFS, combat boots or flight boots are authorized.
Try on the uniform items (flight suit, jacket and/or gloves) issued at gaining base prior to arrival at IFS.
Your unit will provide patches and nametags, these items are no longer issued at IFS. If your unit and base cannot provide the required flying equipment, determine appropriate sizes for the equipment (try them on at IEU) and include your sizes in the IFS Pre-Arrival Checklist.
If your IFS training will occur anytime between November and March, also attempt to procure one set of thermal underwear from your IEU.
Jackets will neither be needed nor issued here between the May-August timeframe.
It is the responsibility of the student to purchase and bring Air Force PT gear.
